Inferior high-temperature wires and cables will bring serious security risks to people's production and life, so customers must shine their eyes when purchasing high-temperature cables. But if all kinds of safety tests are carried out one by one, it will not only take a long time, but also cost a lot. Is there any method to quickly identify the quality of high-temperature wires and cables? Today, I will teach you a more basic method, how to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of high temperature wire and cable.
、 Look at the color of the copper wire. The national industry standard (GB) stipulates that the copper wire of cable conductor must be pure copper, that is, oxygen free copper. The copper content of oxygen free copper reaches 99.9%, the purity is relatively high, the color is bright and soft, the copper with high oxygen content and other impurities is dark, and the brightness is relatively low.
、 Wipe the copper wire with white paper. Because the unqualified copper wire contains more impurities, and the fusion of copper is unstable, so after wiping, it will leave the mark (blackening) on the white paper.
、 Bend the copper wire conductor back and forth. Pure copper wire is relatively soft and has good tension, so it is not easy to break.
、 Observe the surface of copper wire. There should be no triangle, burr, crack, kink, fold, inclusion, scar, pockmark, mechanical damage, corrosion spot, spot and other defects on the surface of pure copper wire conductor.
